Program Description
Nanpu Bridge is the first river-crossing bridge ever built in Shanghai. The total length is 8,346 meters, and the height of the navigation is 46 meters. The colossal ship of 55000 tons can pass under the bridge. Main bridge’s structure is composed of twin towers and double cable planes combination cable-stayed bridge. The main bridge embraces six lanes with 30.35 meters in width. It is completed at the end of 1991 and opened to traffic. The stay cables were provided by SPCC (Shanghai Pujiang Cable Co., Ltd.) BACK
